They completed a survey at the end of the experience to select their top three choices, which will be used by administrators and counselors to make choices about course offerings and scheduling in the 2020-2021 school year. Career-related studies are part of the Career Academies model at the HSWCHS, which helps to ensure that our students are as prepared as possible for whatever their path is after graduation. FACS classes sewed monsters based on descriptions and images created by kindergarteners earlier in the school year. They presented monster projects in person today to excited kids at OVPA. January 2020 Juniors Experience 1920s in HSWCHS Library Juniors at our Hot Springs World Class High School traveled back in time today, as the new Library Media Center was used as the host site for a hands-on, interactive experience to model the 1920s - including an archive of historic documents and photographs, activities and board games, films, photo booth, and large collection of memorabilia from the time period. Students enjoyed a sensational show and learned about appropriate etiquette, musical production, and the many careers available in arts and drama.
